| Exchange 2003 install problem | Configuration: |
|
I am trying to install Exchange 2003. I ran, domain/forest prep fine, net and dc diag also fine, when i actually go to install exchange program it reports back "The File 'closedexpectedcontentclasses_s.xml' on (unknown) is needed. the error box asks you for a path to the file. Cannot find the file and cannot understand why this box is coming up.I don't know what is going on here, or why it is giving me this message? Any ideas would be GREATLY APPRICIATED.Thanks,Matt

Re: Exchange 2003 install problem by Anonymous Ghost on December 09th, 2005 08:28:01 AM I don't know if it is too late but that is a CD File System problem (31 characters maximum), the file is there but with another name.
You must do a CD Image, open it with WinISO or similar, go to the folder where the file is, change the file name puting .XML at the end and changing the Image format to Joliet and saving it again, then burn it again or load the Image with a virtual CD like Daemon Tools. |
Re: Exchange 2003 install problem by Anonymous Ghost on December 09th, 2005 10:03:58 AM ...After all there are about 30 files in this condition. You have a file list with the correct names and respective sizes in the folder I386 named server.inf. Burn the CD only after you've corrected every name... With a virtual image I had to made corrections about 15 times... |
