Re: CD Drive not recognised by budwis on April 08th, 2004 03:50:47 AM Mine doesn't work either and it is recongnised in dos and bootup. I have removed the drive controller because their is no CDROM in the Device Settings. Still, when it reinstalls, NOTHING.

It says that to all cds that were inserted. can you please help me, thanks |
Re: CD Drive not recognised by Anonymous Ghost on August 23rd, 2004 09:01:38 PM mine doesnt have the cdrom thingy to remove, and i had it working before, untill i installed another hard drive, ever scince then it reconises the cd rom on start up but then if i go into my computer it doesnt have the cdrom drive reconised, any help? thanks |

The CD Drive shows up under settings in the Device Manager, and it says that it's working properly; however, I can not access the drive. It reports "Device not ready". Above that it says "d:/ is not accessible". |
