| Missing item in start menu? Help? | Configuration: |
Hi all, I went to run msconfig the other day and noticed that the "run" selection from my start menu was gone... At first I thought I was crazy and completely blanked on how to get into the msconfig utility, and to be honest, I am still not clear if this is the way I did it before. Anyone know how to get it back? Thanks, Matt.

Re: Missing item in start menu? Help? by leroi3 on April 14th, 2004 11:45:57 AM Start>settings>taskbar and start menu>advanced tab, put a checkmark in "display run in the start menu" (or similar), click apply and okay, possibly reboot. If the checkmark is already there, uncheck, apply/okay, reboot, reverse the process and see if it appears.

Re: Missing item in start menu? Help? by Anonymous Ghost on October 09th, 2004 05:37:43 PM Hello,All
I have the same problem (after some install/remove of firewall 'ZoneAlarm'),
but in start->setting->taskbar , advanced tab, there is no checkbox for 'run' and 'shutdown' menus.
even if I press Alt-Ctrl-Del shutdown is
not accessiable (grayed out).
Anyone as idea?
Thanks,
Moti. |
