Weird messeges at bootupConfiguration:
Hi folks,
I recently got rid of abundant/consistent and annoying popups on IE. I did this by utilizing HijackThis, Adaware, and Spybot. However, even though the popups are gone, I still get an annoying messege at bootup (not connected to the net). It reads, "error loading C:WINDOWSBXXS5.DLL".
Is there a way to stop this messege?
I also get a meesege when surfing the net that reads, "parts of n-case have been removed and it may no longer operate properly...". It is nothing compared to the poups I had before, but it is still a hassle. I have already tried running spybot in safe mode a couple of times. Any chance of stopping this messege also?
Thanks in Advance,

N-case is adware associated with some P2P sites like Kazaa. Usually that message comes up after spybot or adaware has removed it. But remnants are left causing the message to appear. Usually when I've seen that message it gives the option to reinstall N-case or remove the remnants. I've always chosen to remove and the systems never had any problem after that.
I imagine the error calling BXXS5.DLL is due to the same thing--not all remnants of software/spyware being removed.
In both cases you may need to run regedit and do a search for n-case and then bxxs5.dll. It would probably be safe to remove any references you find.

Hello All,
Thank You All for the great suggestions. I actually tried Adaware 6.0 last night(I had previosly used an older version), and with the updates, the entire problem is now solved!
Everyone has been great here. This board ROCKS!
