| Unable to update Norton Antivirus | Configuration: |
hi guys,
i just would like to get your opinion and help as well. i recently installed Norton Antivirus on my system and added Norton Internet Firewall. the problem is when using LiveUpdate, i only get a list of the components for the Firewall and not with the AntiVirus. i have already tried reinstalling LiveUpdate, but still the same. i am tired of uninstalling and reinstalling the same program all over again. who knows, i have already reinstalled them for 3 times now. would there be another way of working around this issue withou reinstallation? thanks

Did you check your registration? You should see a registration number against NAV if it is still in date and you did the online reg routine.

trash both norton progs and d/l Avast! free home edition and sygate free home edition....that will end your problems and it works great!

thanks for the reply guys. i'll take note of that peter.
yeah i was able to uninstall and reinstall Norton Antivirus and LiveUpdate was able to pickup the components of NAV. the only problem is the date of expiration for both NAV and the Firewall went down from 366 days to 93 days for both...
guys how can i fix this?

Hi there this is my first time, um had this norton antivirus symantic last year in march,2004, I have tried everything and i can't seem to get anywhere, the box keeps telling me that i am not connected, is it because it is expired? and or how can i bring it back up for free? Thank you for your time
