keyboard and mouse frozen/black screen with messageConfiguration:
I turned off the computer last night because of an incoming storm. When it started lightning, I decided to unplug the PC cord and phone cord. I plugged them back in this A.M. and turned the computer on. It comes up with a black screen and the message the windows did not start properly. I keeps trying to start windows normally. I need to start it in a different mode which is listed on the screen but my mouse will not work and the keyboard is frozen so I can\'t use the arrow keys to go up and down. This has happened before but I can\'t remember how to fix it. Does anyone know what key I pust to get my keyboard unlocked. Thanks! This is an HP computer with Windows XP. Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP
