| Creating Chapters in video files. | Configuration: |
This isnt techincal so apologies there, but does anybody know of any software (preferably freeware hehe) that will enable me to put chapters in video files? eg i have downloaded a whole music concert and want to put it onto VCD and be able to select each song as you would on a genuine DVD ie scene selection or track selection. Thanks for any help given,

Re: Creating Chapters in video files. by kurts3 on April 13th, 2004 12:59:20 AM I don't believe you can create chapters on VCD's. You could split them and then create icons for each video but obviously that would cause a slight pause as the disc played from on e video to the next.

Re: Creating Chapters in video files. by emilwp on April 14th, 2004 07:57:10 PM you can use VCDEasy for that, but first you have to convert your video to mpeg-1 (VCD) or mpeg-2 (SVCD). With VCDEasy (last freeware version is 1.1.5.1 next are comercial, do google search) you can set chapters at any time or frame of mpg file you want and than burn (S)VCD. Emil

How to create chapters of a mpeg to make a DVD (not VCD) by Anonymous Ghost on December 28th, 2004 10:44:11 PM I have a full length movie I downloaded. I want to burn it to a DVD but with chapters/menus. Is there a software that does this (freeware if possible). |
