| can't open windows media player | Configuration: |
Since today I can't open Windows Media Player anymore, unfortunately I don't have any software to re-install , would it be sufficient to upgrade the Media Player on the
Microsoft website ?

That actually is the preferred method. If you want to use WMP download from the windows site. I would check there to see if there are issues with WMP9 in win2000. Something sticks in my head. I may be all wet so don't spend much time on it. I personnally dislike WMP and use Winamp 5.03, which is a free player.

MAY I CAN'T PLAY IT BECAUSE IF I TRY TO A ERROR COMES UP AND SAYS AN INTERNAL APPLICATION ERROR HAS OCCURRED AND I DON'T NO HOW TO FIX IT SO CAN SOME1 HJELP ME PLZ IT WILL BE A GOOD THING FOR ME OK |

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type regsvr32 jscript.dll, and then click OK.
3. Click OK.
4. Click Start, and then click Run.
5. In the Open box, type regsvr32 vbscript.dll, and then click OK.
6. Click OK. |

Thanks to the above, this fixed my problem: i had the same problem as the guy in all caps...lol. Thanks again ;) |

the icon is on the taskbar, but i cant maximize it, so i cant really do anything with it. I would be very happy for any help. |
