| lost my os | Configuration: |

need help was upgrading memory on a hp pavilion8175 from 48 to 64 edo memory. when i restarted the computer it would not go past the windows 2000 loading window when i tried to reload it got stuck on searching for previous windows sytem please help dont know what to do

lost xp cd disk. what can i do other than buy a new one? thanks.
