i can't remeber how to find out what type of ram i have? can anyone remind me? thanks Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP/2000/NT

or Aida32 . Look under Motherboard, SPD.

You can use several software such as Sis
Sandra,Dr.Hardware,etc.It determines the type of Ram installed and also the speed of the RAM.Another simple way is to refer your motherboard manual.

Refer you mother board manual if you have one.Else,use trird party software such as Sis Sandra,Dr,Hardware.These software determines type of RAM and speed of the RAM.
