powerbutton justs resetsConfiguration:
Cannot shutdown computer with the PWR-button. All it does is re-boots computer. It used to work properly..The way it is now, I have two re-set buttons. Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP/2000/NT

Press and hold it for about 5 seconds. Also go into power options in control panel and check the settings.

If I hold button, for a few seconds, the system shuts-down.
I checked my settings, changed them, to be asked, what to do.
When I click on the shutdown button, It asked me what to do.
I click shutdown. It re-boots :(
In the Start Menu it does the same thing.
All shutdown buttons, just reboot.

Control Panel/Power Options/Advanvced
I have a scroll down box which says" When I press the power buton on my computer" and there is aoption here to shut down.
Im using WinXP Home
