SVCHOST and SahAgentConfiguration:
Hi all, I'm workin on a friend's PC (xp home ed, celeron 2300 mhz, 256 MB RAm..... I forget what type.....I think that's all that's important in this situation), he keeps complaining about his processor usage constantly up at 100%. IT appears that one of the instances of SVCHOST.EXE is the main resource hog.

I've been fanagling for a while, and I came accross Shop At Home Select Agent (SahAgent.exe). I am fairly convinced that this is some sort of spyware......

Any ideas? And if it is, I would appreciate some suggestions on how to rid this machine of it. I first found it while looking through add/remove programs, I tried to remove it from there restarted, it seemed to fix the problem... but a few days later he said it was back again up to 100% on processor usage, and Shop at home select agent is once again on here, in Add/remove programs, again.

Thanks alot!

Nic

you should try downloading ad-aware or spykiller, or another spy killing software.
