Ok, kind of a funny story but not. I was remounting my cdroms and well i put my dvd rom in sideways (Virtical) My dvd rom is a pioneer slide in (the one where there is no tray...just like the cdplayer in your car) any way i turned the computer back on and i heard a gr gr gr gr gr noise comming from that rom. i took the cd out and OH NO it was my recently purchased XP Professional CD all scrached up. Now for my question is there somewhere on microsoft site or somewhere where i can get the CD setup for microsoft XP Professional SP1 my key is still good only had to use it the one time on inital update from XP home. Please help

Call MS up, explain the situation, talk to em for a bit, and get a new CD. I'm sure they'll let you do hat if u can prove you own XP Pro. |
