C drive W2k NTFS D drive FAT32Configuration:
All
I am putting a new hard drive in my computer
The new OS is W2K Pro and I want it to be NTFS
THe second drive is formatted in FAT32, this drive has old documents, pictures, mps, etc on it

From what I understant NTFS does not read FAT32
What can I do without Making C FAT16 then copying all data from D(FAT32), format D NTFS, then Copy all data to D, then recreate C with NTFS

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated
Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP/2000/NT

You understand incorrectly.
NTFS Operating systems (Windows 2000 and above) can read both NTFS AND Fat32. Windows 95 and 98 will be unable to read NTFS drives however.
As a general rule, I would always leave one drive paritioned to about 6GB that is FAT32 so if you encounter problems with Windows 2000 or XP you can install earlier versions of windows (ie. 95,98,ME) and then install Windows 2000 or XP from a Windows environment.

So basically, you'll be able to view and use your documents in Windows 2000,XP etc. even if the drive is FAT32.
