DAO v3.5 causing problems DAO.msiConfiguration:
Ran into a problem with this program that appears in the software list in the control panel as DAO version 3.5. I'm still not exactly sure what it is however with some Nikon software it causes a problem. When you load the software it asks you to install DAO.msi but it can never find it. I found a solution on the web to simply remove DAO and sure enough that worked but it has caused new problems. Aparently now various video and multimedia functions are f'd. Where do I find this to reinstall it? When I do reinstall is there a way to avoid the trouble with Nikon software? Thanks. Operating System : Windows XP

DAO is a sub program that works with your ATI graphics card. Look through your ATI software, find it and install.

You probably gave up on this program months ago, but you can download the DAO software from ATI. It's one of the downloads for ATI Multimedia Center. Check at:
