cannot install old gameConfiguration:
I bought the game "TOPGUN fire at will", it is an old game and will not play on my compaq pressario w/windows xp. the computer have plenty of memory and when i try to install it says i need to change my buffer settings(?), but finishes the install, then when i try to run the game, the graphics are all messed up, I dont know much about computers or how to change mu buffer settings or if i even can, please help Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP/2000/NT

Hey My computer wont let me Install Certain games it says C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications.

ive installed other games on it but it just wont install some of them and they are not old
