Hi,

Need some help on solving a boot problem. Every time i start my computer i get an error saying win xp has recovered from serious error. I lust click it to go away and everything is quite normal.
The error looks like this :

BCCode : 76 BCP1 : 00000000 BCP2 : FF7A0440 BCP3 : 00000001 BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 0_0 Product : 256_1

Any suggestions ?

Possibly some boot startup item is causing the problem.
Run MSCONFIG by selecting Start, Run, and enter MSCONFIG
select the Startup tab and uncheck all and then reboot.
If no error occurrs some program in those was giving the problem.
Check one item and reboot.
Repeat the process until all are re-checked and you have found the defaulting program.

Try installing the defauting program, and you are done.

I had one or more of the MSWorms, I still have a BCcode: 96 is this hardware or software?
