Tracking an instant messageConfiguration:
If I was getting an instant message from someone, is there a way to find out where it is coming from? Or is it possible to tell if the messages i am receiving from 2 different people are coming from the same house or computer? Thanksandy Operating System : Windows XP

I dont believe so, you'd have to see if they were both being sent from the same IP address, my knowledge of instant messangers is stunt though since I use Trillian (All in one instant messanger) so I don't deal with the aim/YM/Msn hacks or have any need to. My advice is to take some asprin, turn down the light and get more mature friends? lol, best of luckDougP.s. you'd be wise to list the program you instant message with if anyone will be able to help.Windows Xp HomeCeleron 2.8 Ghz768mb RamGeforce 5700LE PCI Card 128MB 128 bit

Oh yeah I forgot to mention I was using MSN messenger 7.0. Ahhh, more mature friends, a though I have had myself often enough lol. As to finding the answer to my question, it's not really that important, though my curiosity has been piqued. And I figured it would be a cool trick to know.andy
