Missing Startup ProgramsConfiguration:
I don't know what happened. When I rebooted just now most everything was gone. My hard drive is OK and I can access all of the harware. ALL programs are are still loaded but all shortcuts have disapeared. I only have three icons on my desktop and my wallpaper disapeared. All of My Favorites are gone and I had to reset my Internet connection. Even when I go to the Start menu and programs, the programs file where Accesories and games says "File Empty". I have tried to make a new profile and it comes up with the same thing. Can you give my any clues as to what may have happen and if I can restore things someway other than reload all data. If any thing, I just need to have the Start / All Programs icons back so I can easily access my programs ( I can still do this by going to the program files folder and finding the .exe program for whatever I want to run, but this is a huge pain in the butt).

All that I did was reboot. Help!

Thanks much!
