Spontaneous Shut Down/Reboot problems ... plus!Configuration:
Hello.

I got this computer a couple of months ago ... here's what I have:

AMD DURON 1.3GHz Socket A w/200MHz FSB
SOLTEK SL-75AV-X Motherboard w/sound
128 MB SDRAM
300 watt case
30GB Maxtor Hard Drive (7200 rpm)
Standard 1.44MB Floppy Drive
50X CD-ROM
10/100 Network Card
Windows XP Pro

about the past month it's been spontaneously flashing - what I think you guys call "blue screen" then rebooting itself. this can happen anywhere from 2 - 5 times a day - frustrating of course. When Microsoft's On Line Crash Analysis does it's thing this is what I get:

A couple more things - every time I turn on the computer I get 3 Error Windows which pop up:
1. Real-time Scanning service is not started. Do you want to start it?
(I usually say yes)
2. Java Scan: Unable to initialize the scan engine
3. Pop3trap: Unable to initialize the scan engine

I also get a Tmntsrv error message fairly regularly.

the computer came with PC-cillin 2002 installed
I have ADSL through telus.net which includes their own anti-virus program
I was wondering if it is a problem to have more than one anti-virus program running?

I've read quite a bit on your site but not quite sure what to do for my problems which look somewhat like others are having ... your help would be appreciated.

I think that's it ... waiting for your reply and recommendations
Thanks
DivaD

i just installed a new motherboard in a new case that i am building.everything is hooked up properly,i checked it 3 times.when i turn the system on and go to set the bios,it shuts down in about 20 seconds.the only way to get it to come back on is i have to clear the cmos.when i turn it back on same thing happens again.if i try to go straight to windows it works fine.
