Long delay for Programs to launchConfiguration:
My friend's PC is having a major problem. He found over 40 background processes and all of them are spyware, adware, malicious programs. All those processes were deleted and now several programs won't appear like for a minute. For example, clicking on "My Computer", Internet Explorer, Notepad, etc. and it will take like a minute to appear on screen. I'm afraid that these malicious programs has caused some damaged to the system files. Is there a way to fix the problems without having to reinstall Windows XP?
Thanks.
Operating System : Windows XP Pro
