Windows XP startupConfiguration:
I turn on my computer and it goes to the windows loading screen, (just before the login screen) then it simply restarts before getting to the login screen. It gives me the options to go in safe mode and last working configurations when it starts running again. I have tried all the options but all of them just restart my comp. Operating System : Windows XP with SP2
CPU/Processor : Pentium 4 Prescott

I puchased a new hard drive and installed it. I copied the old hard disk to the new one using Drive Image 7.03. I have observed all instructions on Mbr settings etc. (MBR Set drive active both apply to c: dive only).

The hard drives are dual booting Win 2000 on C: and XP on E:. D: is the cd rom. The old Harddive still works fine but the new one will only boot on win 2000 c: drive and won't boot on E: drive win xp.
