My IE only opens in the taskbar and I can not see the window. It's as if it is always minimized and I can not maximize it. I then noticed that my third party Opera Browser had the same problem. Next Task Manager had the same issue. They all start and are present in the taskbar, but their windows never display on the desktop, or maybe they flash briefly and try to display and then vanish.
Additional Comments:
I've ran Ad aware and spybot sd. I even ran a windows XP repair upgrade and the problem still persists. I reinstalled SP1 hoping that may fix the issue. Also, I turned off third party Active X controls in the IE settings. Still no help.
