If I shut down xp in restart or any programme needs to shut down and restart, the keyboard and mouse lockup. This does not happen in a full shutdown or startup.Alan

when i am trying to boot windows 98 it continusly restart
Re: restart Problem by Anonymous Ghost on November 13th, 2004 07:26:30 PM
That can be because of bad memory, If the memory is bad, windows will not be able to save all the contents of the memory before restarting and the shut down is stopped showing a coloured screen or blank black screen.
REMEMBER THIS COUD BE ONE OF THE PROBLEMS.

Usin WinXP, sometimes i boot up and everything is fine.. but lately it just continually reboots.. Is right before windows seems like it would load, the WinXP logo with the progress bars come up and do their thing, then it goes like its about to enter windows but blue screen with white text is on for like 1/2 a second then reboot.. everytime i reboot asks me do i wanna reboot in safe mode or do whatever.. I hate computers. =P
