| Keyboard problem | Configuration: |
My NEC Notebook (Versa VXi) has problems with the keyboard. The following keys are not working: J,M,U,Y,6,7,spacebar,Comma, Right Alt,Right Shift,Scroll Lock & Num Lock. Shift key is sometimes locked and typing is always in upper case.
Additional Comments: Please advice on what can be wrong with my notebook.

Re: Keyboard problem by Anonymous Ghost on December 05th, 2004 06:40:47 PM I have the same problem. As it turns out if an external keyboard is plugged in and a few keys pressed and the external keyboard is then un-plugged it fixes the problem. I have yet to find an answer either. The issues is more than likely to do with the "function" key and the character sequences entered from those keys you mentioned when you press them. |
