Computer will not shut down when I shut it downConfiguration:
Everything goes well until the \"windows is shutting down\" scren appears; then it just hangs and hangs until, after a long time, I manually throw the master switch. The computer on/off switch doe son turn it off. Operating System : windows 98SE
CPU/Processor : PentiumIII

in some system the shutdown will not work proper.If ur ststem is AT ,then u have to manualy of it.If it is ATX, no problem.just push the power button.It will shutdown.
It won't affect harddisk & processor.
Other wise pls format the system with
new OScd's

when I either log off or shut down it gets darker and then comes back again to original state. I have to turn computer off by switch. Only happens on my log in name
