boot problemConfiguration:
Had win 95. Both d and d drives wiped out in an attempt to load a win 98 cd? how can I start the cd when dos does not recognize drive e--the cd drive. Operating System : microsoft dos (WAS 95)

Download the mscdex.exe from http://www.techadvice.com/tech/M/MSCDEX.htm
and copy it to a floppy.

Use a bootable disk to boot the machine. One you are in DOS, use the MSCDEX utility to detect your drive in DOS.

Now you will be able to access the cd drive :)
