win me reformatConfiguration:
Hope I can explain this right, here goes.......I reformatted my friend's PC because it was very messed up. I knew how to do it from reading about it, plus I own 2 Pc's and had to refomat my own too.
Everything went very well until it came to the USER AGREEMENT to load Windows ME. For some odd reason the screen resolution is off, making all the icons and fonts large. The left side of the screen is a menu, and it now it sits on top of the area to click YES to the agreement on both requests. I cant get past that USER AGREEMENT page because of it.The PC came with 3 recovery cd's. The 3 rd CD was labeled by someone (who once repaired this PC) "DRIVERS" ..... now the problem: When reformatting process is happening, it asks for each of the 1 st 2 CD's but not the 3 rd, the DRIVERS. Can someone PLEASE explain why? and when and how to install the driver CD? My friend is not able to afford the upgrade to WIN XP. We just need to get past the USER AGREEMENT screen and install drivers. HELP
I am stumped! Thanks.
Operating System : win me
