Problems installing Conquerors ExpansionConfiguration:
Hi

Here is my problem. I have Microsofts Age of Empires II installed in the D: partition. I bought the Conquerers Expansion Cd and when I try to install it, it says "Microsoft Age of Empires Not found" and shuts down instead of istalling. I have tried to install the CE cd after installing AOE in the C\Program Files\AOE directory and even then, the CE cd says AOE not installed and shuts down.

Additional Comments:
On a related note, I also have Might and Magic VII installed from the first disc. When I try to play it, it says intsert Disc two. (I guess the first disc is the installation disc and the second is required to play). Anyway, when I insert disc 2 and ten restart the application, I get a message saying "Disc 2 not found" even though disc 2 is in the cd tray, and the game shuts down. Any solutions?

Thanks
Operating System : Win 2000 server edition

Have you installed a WAREZ version of the game, the CD Hack or any trainers in Microsoft Age on Empires II.
Conquerors Expansion will not get installed on them.

I have the bootable WIN XP cd and I want to install it ; I already checked the BIOS Setup and the first boot is on the CD, but when I put my Win XP cd and start booting from the CD I get an error message that the file i386biosinfo.inf couldnt be loaded ...... The instalation progran can not continue...

Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks very much.

can't install win98se by Anonymous Ghost on May 27th, 2003 10:10:28 AM
I had installed windows 2000 on a windows 98 system. Left it at a dual boot. Through win 2000 recovery panel I thought I cleared the hard drive and made a partition for fat32 active. I am fearly new (as you problem can tell) at this. Now I want to go back to the windows 98 os but when I put my startup disk in it constantly reboots it self not allowing it to go any further what do I do from here?

Age of conquerors/ Age of Emperors II installation problem by Anonymous Ghost on October 29th, 2003 02:57:12 PM
I am facing the same problem as narrated above by Justin. It is also showing in AOEII after about 8% of the installtion is done. Both cases the message is the same, that it is unable to extract from MSGAME.CAB because either there is a corrupted cabinet file or memory for swapping is low. Could someone suggest a solution please?

Re: Problems installing Conquerors Expansion by Anonymous Ghost on January 03rd, 2004 05:20:47 PM
I have recently had Windows XP (home edition) installed on my PC. However while I have installed and play Age of Kings ok, I can not get Age of Conquerors to play. It "appears" to be installed ok.
The silly thing sits on the opening AoC front page when I attempt to play the game.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Regards
Steve
