won\\\\\\\'t finish loading OSConfiguration:
Hello,
I have trouble with dirrerent boards. I put together a Soyo system (SY-k7v dragon plus) with DDR memory (256 megs) and a 900 mhz Athlon. I\\\\\\\'ve Fdisked the 20 gig harddrive and formatted. Then with Dos which runs perfectly I start loading an OS (Win95, Win98, Mellinium). I goes through all the way untill it\\\\\\\'s time to reboot. Either a general fault protection or it continully resets. It doesn\\\\\\\'t even load XP. The second system is A MS-6389 motherboard that goes in a Gateway computer with SDRAM PC 133 (256 Megs) and a 1200 mhz Athlon . Same thing happens. Can a system be damaged and still run DOS but not a more complicated OS. I am fustrated and confused. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, John.
Operating System : ms win xp
