C++ help by punkyn21 on December 02nd, 2002 02:09:06 PM Write a program that uses a single dimension array to solve the following problem.
The program shall read in 20 integers, each of which is between 10 and 100 inclusive. As each integer is read, print it only if it is not a duplicate of a number already read. Provide for the "worst" case in which all integers are different. Use the smallest possible array to solve this problem.
The program shall read the data from a file and output the results to a file. The integers should be read in one at a time. You may decide how to determine when all the integers have been read. You may use a sentinel value, the eof( ) function, or use the number of integers in the file since the problem specifies 20 integers..
Test data: Use the following test data.
25 10 67 15 25 25 24 15 31 67
10 100 34 23 25 10 56 34 23 23 |

Re: Outlook illegal operation screen by Anonymous Ghost on November 30th, 2003 05:46:03 PM Have been getting illegal operations also. Am running on Outlook 2000 on 98 platform networked to 2000 servers with symantec enterprise edtion AV with all latest updates. Pulled down all MS service patches for OS and Office. Still got it. Unloaded and reloaded MS office Pro. Still got it. Unloaded (including all registry entries related to outlook) and loaded newer version of MS office premium. Still got it. Reloaded OS. Still got it. Manually ran several virus extraction utilities off symantec site. Still got it. PRAYED FOR THE DEATH OF BILL GATES, formatted drive, reloaded OS and Office. IT WORKED! -- for 2 days.... (after I felt bad about Gates...) Now getting illegal operation again. Anyone have a voodoo doll??!?!!!!?!!! |
Re: Outlook illegal operation screen by Anonymous Ghost on November 30th, 2003 05:50:09 PM Addendum to above. Only happening on one of 15 pcs on network -- all running same config. Replaced CPU and memory. Still got it. |
Re: Outlook illegal operation screen by Anonymous Ghost on November 30th, 2003 05:58:43 PM Addendum 2 for above. Also replaced power supply and have no errors on scandisk and defrags. No other apps corrupt. Is anyone else getting this? Acts like a worm/virus/trojan, etc. that just hasn't been found yet ... but has been going on for a full month and no other PCs on the network have manifest this. WHAT THE HELL? |
Re: Outlook illegal operation screen by Anonymous Ghost on November 30th, 2003 11:25:48 PM formatted drive, reloaded OS and Office. IT WORKED! -- for 2 days....
What programs did you install in the day/day before when the error started to creep in again. Uninstalling that program could help but possibility exists that it might not.
Just try this:
formatted drive, reloaded OS. Whenever you install a new application, after installation is complete, reboot the system and see if Outlook crashes. If yes, you have located the defaulter application. Look the help/website of that application for how to correct those errors :), maybe you will need to download a new version of that tool. |

Re: Outlook illegal operation screen by Anonymous Ghost on June 14th, 2004 10:15:00 AM If you have hotbar installed or was ever installed, you will receive these illegal operations in Outlook 2000. To repair this behavior, go into your Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and uninstall Hotbar. Once you have done that, do a file search for "outcmd.dat" on the C: drive. If that file is found, rename it to outcmd.old. Re-launch Outlook. The problem should be resolved. The outcmd.dat file is located in the Application Data folder of your Profile. |

Re: Outlook illegal operation screen by Anonymous Ghost on July 30th, 2004 05:19:04 AM Most outlook problems occur (in outlook 2000) because of add ins. they can be deselcted by clicking on Tools, options, Other (tab), advanced options, then add in manager. (this is in 2000 at least). once in here you can deselect the addins to solve the error
then add them one by one restarting each time. this solved the problem i was having were an illegal operation occured each time i closed an email |
