I double click the 8i icon, it loads the screen with the option to install 8i, but when that option is chosen, nothing happens. |

Now we need to work on WIN XP Professional . Oracle 8.0 as such does not work on XP .Tell me if there is any version of Oracle 8 which does so or any other software or patch …that we can install to make it run.In short by hook or crook we need to run 8.0 on XP . |
