while loading oracle 8i on win2000 prof. it will hang in b/w...not loading properly. |

I have installed oracle 8i on p-IV but after installing I am getting following message continousely on screen "Java.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close."
Please help me.

while i was trying to install oracle 8i personal edition on windows 2000 with p4 processor i got the message showing in the details "jrew causes an invalid page fault in module javai.dll" . |

When I run setup, I do not receive any response. No error is display as to why I'm not able to install oracle8i client. please send me a solution to this problem.

search for the file symcjit.dll & change it into symcjit.old.
its a bug in Oracle 8i with P4 systems |
