I have win 2000 server on oracle 8i.if i change the win 2k server admin password will it effect to the oralce 8i database |

I have a problem in username and password while installing oracle 8i in windows XP.
For the first time username and password worked when i gave as scott and tiger.
But from the next time onwards it didn't work out.
I request you to help me out ASAP.

i have installed oracle 8 on server 2000 .. it just shows tow options to start and stop the database.. there are no plsql package with it.. that makes it impossible for me to work with data.
