| unable to install oracle db 9i on xp sp2 (home edition) | Configuration: |
I am trying to install Oracle 9i database on my laptop - HP Pavilion AMD64 1Ghz Ram and 80GB HD. I successfully downloaded and unzipped 3 zipped files from otn.
When I double-click on Setup.exe, nothing happens, basically the installer doesnt show up. Why and can someone help me here?

CPU/Processor : 3400+ amd 64 aTHLON
RAM : 1GHz

I want to install oracel 9i and forms 6i on my system, but i heard tht one cant install these on windows xp home editon service pack 2. can anyone suggest me how to get started with my installation as well as the steps to go abt it. thank you |
