| tns protocol adapter error no 12560 | Configuration: |
i m facing this prob when i m installing a oracle 9i on windows98 how i can solve this problem
this is my third attmpt to install oracle 9i
so please help me
| Operating System : win 98
CPU/Processor : athlon 1700 MHz
RAM : Actual:256 MB
Motherboard : nvidia
Hard Disk : samsung, Space: 40 GB, RPM:7200
PCI Slots : Total: 3
Monitor : samsung 17"

i installed oracle 8 client on my home pc with windows 2000.my problem is that i am not able to even login
as scott/tiger. what should i do? |

am using win xp, & installed oracle 9i.
But when i am trying to log iam getting ORA-12560 tns protocol adapter error |

Even im getting the same TNS Protocol Adapter Error 12560...this is the third time i hv installed oracle 9i.can anybosy spot out where the problem is??? |
