| unable to install oracle 8.1.7 in Win 2k server | Configuration: |
On clicking the setup.exe in oracle it displays the hourglass and back to normal. Oracle is not installing - no error message too.
Tried setup in CD.
| Operating System : Microsoft windows 2000 server
CPU/Processor : P4
RAM : Actual:512 MB
Motherboard : Intel 2000MHz
Hard Disk : Seagate, Space: 40 GB, RPM:6000
Monitor : Dell 14"
Video Card : on board
Sound Card : dell 64 Bit
CD Drive : dell 32 X
Mouse : dell
Keyboard : dell
Joystick : dell
Printer : dell
Scanner : dell

try this: in your oraparam.ini change the setting JRE_MEMORY_OPTIONS to -nojit

try copying the CD to disk, renaming symcjit.dll to symcjit.old |
