installing Canon BJC-620 printerConfiguration:
Several days ago my nephew (no longer available) installed the correct driver and my Canon BJC-620 for me. My OS is Windows 98 and I'm using a parallel port. The printer worked perfectly until tonight. When I started to print I got the message that I should "install the printer." It's as if it just disappeared! I do not have an installation disk. Went to Add New Hardware and the Installation Wizard box opened. It searched for new hardware and said it could'nt find any. Next I opened the Control Panel, clicked on Printers (the only icon in this box was the "Add Printer" icon. Clicked on it and, again, the Wizard came up. My printer was not listed in the Canon section. I'm at a loss as to what to do next. Can anybody give me step-by-step instructions on installing this printer? Does anybody know why it was installed and working one minute and gone the next? I really would appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thanks. Operating System : MIcrosoft Windows 98
CPU/Processor : Intel Pentium III 700 MHz
RAM : Actual:128 MB
Motherboard : Gateway
Monitor : Gateway 17"
Mouse : MIcrosoft
Keyboard : Microsoft
Printer : Lexmark X73
Scanner : Lexmark X73
