CD Drive: Asus 5224A (52x24x52)
I had a spyware problem so reformatted my entire hard disk and everything is fine except now the CD Drive is not detected. My 16x DVD Drive is detected but my CD-RW drive is not detected in Windows or BIOS. The very strange thing is that the drive is functioning normally. I can open it and insert a CD and it the light blinks as it is being read. I even pressed the next track button (physically) next to the eject button and to my astonishment the music actually played. I cannot find a driver for the CD Drive as even on Asus\' own support site they only have firmware updates and no original drivers.
Any help would be appreciated.
