| disc can not be found in CD-Rewrite drive | Configuration: |
My CD-rewrite usually worked Ok but after I removed the Adaptec CD Creator program and added Nero, it could not find the disc. It appeared "There is no disc in the drive, please insert a disc." My disc worked Ok in other computers.
Additional Comments: Also drive A is not accessible.

Re: disc can not be found in CD-Rewrite drive by Anonymous Ghost on January 02nd, 2005 07:24:23 PM If you put the CDWRITER in yourself, you may have lost the power cable to the A drive -- try different CD -- see if computer will read the files, say on a audio, game, or files... if it fails on all three, it would appear you have a driver problem - use a start up disc, load with CD ROM support and see if computer sees the WIndows CD ...if so you know the hardware is good and you have a Windows driver problem good luck |
