Little while ago I brought Samsung USB 2.0 512MB OEM Pack. For few week I have copied data from one computer to another (with different operating system). Last time I used my Memory stick in XP...copy the stuff from memory stick to computer with 2000 and plug the memory stick into win 98... as it didn\'t have suitable USB driver it didn\'t work. So I took out the memory stick from it. Next day when try to copy some stuff on it (Win Nt) system said it write protect, I need to remove write protection. Now it is happen on every computer and every operating system. I can\'t see any physical switch...

also I have a problem with my LG flash disk 512 MB ..It doesn`t work in win98 and 2ndly always it shows me damaged files although when I put it in the pc that I copeied the files from ,they work perfectly....>>????? |

I have 512 Mb Flash drive of LG, It did not work in Window 98. I copy very important my office Data from my PC and then open in an othar PC, There I found no files in the folder. Guide me.

I installed the Windows XP on my pc and during the installation I forgot to remove my usb flash memory. After that, the windows cannot see the contents of the device (not to my system nor to other systems I tried it). When I insert the device it check it, but when I try to explore it, a pop up box tell me that the disk is not formatted. But I couldn't format it. Any idea?
Maybe this is because of the NTFS format I performed for the XP. The flash has a FAT32 format. |

I ave 512 Mb LG's flash drive, but it didn't work even on windows xp. when i insert the disk, the icon of removable disk shown in tray and the drive of disk appear (lets say drive M:), but when i try to open drive error msg out "Please Insert a disk into drive M:".

For USB flash drive that asks for a disk to be inserted try the following in Win2000 or WinXP:
1) Right click on the "My Computer" icon on the desktop> select MANAGE.
2)Select Disk management from the list on the left hand part of new window.
3) Find your device listed on the right side.
4) Try creating a partition if none exists and then format with FAT. If a partition already exists you can try deleting it and recreating&formatting it.
I did this with my APACER 1Gb HANDY STENO HT203. It works now, however the utilities it came with still do not work with it for repair or formatting. |

Dear Sir, Yesterday I bought a 128 MB LG pen drive(M_Disk). After copying some files and directories for the first time to the drive I was not able to delete them. Now I can not even copy files to pen drive and the capacity of drive is not correct. I tried to format it but windows format is unable to do it. Kindly let me know how can I format the pen drive properly?

when i save data on my lg flash disc 1gb some times it save the data. but when i try to save a big data maby greater then 50 megabyte it can`t save.it corrupts the data and the folder can`t be oppnen. the files name will be changed to 0000000000.0 . pleese help me. |

I have a Mentorware Super Flash Disk with Capacity for 256 MB and Compatible With USB 2.0. I want to format it (FAT or FAT32) so that i can use it but i am unable to do so. I have tried Windows formatting through My computer, Disk manager, Command Prompt.

when i try to open my 256mb LG flash an error pops up saying its unformatted, and trying to format gives an error;"it can't be formatted".Also, checking the properties shows Total size-0mb, Used size-0mb, Unused size-0mb. |

Following is the solution to all your problems:-
Goto Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management. Under Disk Management, your flash drive will be showing.
Put a new partition on it and format it as FAT. |

dear sir,my LG 128 flash disk is having problems when i download files into it. i found out that if i download many files at the same time, some will eventually not open but they still have the original number of bytes. secondly heavy files, say from 10MB, do not open after download.i have formatted the flash disk in a FAT 32 file format.please i need your help.thank

I purchased LG 1Gb last week, too. Now it is being read as empty and the computer prompts me to "insert disk" when I click on the USB drive with the LG flash in it. I tried all the tricks above. Sounds like LG has a problem. |

When i insert my lg flash drive Win xp picks up the drive, but when i click on the drive, it tells me to insert a disk. I accidently formatted my flash drive and know there is no drivers on it. Could you please send me the drivers for usb 2.0 15060. (PP2201/02)
