monitor display problems?Configuration:
How can you tell if your monitor is going out on you? (no punchlines please) Yesterday everything was fine, and today there is a half inch or so of black space all around the visual work screen area. I tried going into settings on the control panel, but nothing helped. Could it be that some other setting has gotten out of whack and if so is there another setting I can go to in order to restore the screen area to its original size. I have a 17" monitor. My son was on the computer for a while last night but swears he didn't do anything to it. Is this something that has simply gotten out of whack for some reason, or is it siimply the monitor saying "sayonara".
Thanks.

Additional Comments:
I am totally computer illiterate. I don't know half of that configuration stuff. Sorry.
Operating System : Microsoft Windows 98
CPU/Processor : Intel Pentium
Monitor : Impression 7Plus
Additional Comments : I don't know half this stuff

Hmm.. not something to worry about..

The monitor has some button on it for sure... Use those buttons to display the menu and change the width, height and the position of the screen display ... simple enough.. eh :)
