hi. i just recently bought everything needed to build a new computer.. this is my first build. in case you need to know the hardware i will put that at the end of my post. everything was working fine when i first ran the computer.. but after i exited BIOS, saved my settings, and turned on my computer again.. it said this:
BAD BIOS CHECKSUM.. CHECKING FLOPPY.. FLOPPY NOT FOUND..CHECKING CD-ROM..CD-ROM FOUND..READING P4P800-E.ROM..COMPLETED.. START ERASING...- START PROGRAMMING.../
PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR SYSTEM AND POWER ON AGAIN TO GET SYSTEM BACK..
ok so i did that and when i turned it back on.. it still said "BAD BIOS CHECKSUM". i went online and did some research on my problem, and found this site. i tried removing the battery for a few minutes like some have said to do but that made no difference. please help me.. i am very eager to get this computer up and running! lol.
