I am using a Logitec iTouch Internet keyboard and found similar problems. When I typed " I would get @ and # instead of \ etc.
The solution:
Forget about updating to the latest driver. Instead, choose a generic Keyboard driver and the problem should disappear.
Go to the Control Panel.
Now double click Keyboard.
Choose the 'Hardware' tab up the top.
Click Properties.
Click the 'Driver' tab.
Select 'Update Driver'.
Select 'Install from a specific location (Advanced)' and click Next.
Select 'Don't search. I will choose the driver to install' and click Next.
Make sure the 'Show compatible hardware' checkbox is ticked.
Now select Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard.

Let us know how things go.
