USB Jumpdrive and autorunConfiguration:
Is it possible to use my jumpdrive the same way as a CD-ROM, with autorun capabilities? I want to insert the jumpdrive and have it start an autorun.exe file. Can it do this? Operating System : XP Pro
CPU/Processor : 3.2 Xeon
RAM : 1 GB
Motherboard : GigaBit
Hard Disk : Maxtors, Space: 250 GB

I am looking for the same thing, and so far short of flashing the firmware on the drive and making the computer think the drive is a cd-rom; there is no way to have the usb drive automatically run a program/file when the usb device is pluged in. There are some drives that come with the firmware on them. Atm they are only from china.

I forgot something... There is software you can load onto the machine that will allow you to mimic the autoplay feature. As far as walking up to any pc and using the ablilty you are short of options.
