Mouse and CD ROM drive not workingConfiguration:
mouse works only in safe mode.
I want to restore system to 10/17, but I can only find a way to go back 3-4 days. Prior to 10/17 system working fine, but was trying to remove a trojan. Want to do a recovery or quick restore from provided cd's but won't read that there is a cd in the drive. (Drive E).

Additional Comments:
The only thing I want to save is the wireless network access system info, but don't know how to. 		Operating System : Windows 98SE
CPU/Processor : Compaq

The CD ROM drive will not open ; How do I get this to work so I can put in a disc
