| CD-ROM drive repeatedly ejects CDs | Configuration: |
Hi,
I have been facing this problem for quite a while. Whenever a CD (licensed or otherwise) is pushed into the tray, the green (BUSY) light blinks for a while after which the CD is automatically ejected. This happens on every attempt. I tried using the \"lens cleaner CD\" as well, but to no avail. Can anyone kindly help me in this by providing any othr solutions.

Re: CD-ROM drive repeatedly ejects CDs by Anonymous Ghost on September 11th, 2004 01:38:37 PM The issue is not caused by the drive is question, thus replacement of the drive will not resolve the issue. Instead, too much force is placed on the drive eject button by the drive mask/bezel mechanism. The bezel button may noticeably stick in the "in" position. |
