Can't Boot into XP in Safe mode or NormallyConfiguration:
First, I was unable to boot in Safe Mode as I would get the blue error screen with error 0x0000007b but logging in normally worked fine. Then I tried going into safe mode using MSConfig and selecting the Safeboot option and I got the same error message. Then when I tried to log in normally, I got the error message there as well. So now I can\'t start my computer at all. I really don\'t want to wipe my hard drive unless it\'s unavoidable. I\'ve already run diagnostics on the hard drive and memory and several virus scans (when I could still log in) and they all passed. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might have caused this and what I can do to fix it? Thanks very much. Operating System : Windows Xp Home Edition
