COMMAND.COM MISSING HELP PLEASEEEEEEEEConfiguration:
Have tried almost everyting. HAve a 1255 compaq presario running win 95/8. Everytime I boot it goes directly to DOS C>. It says Command.com is missing or corrupt, therefor I cant use any software even. Please help I have access to this computer, and need to fix, as laptop is not mine.

reinstall windows 95/98 without formatting, so you wont loose you existing files etc.
