boot up loopConfiguration:
When booting, the system will get about half way through the progress bar (the blue bar during the initial boot up Windows screen) then hang for a while then drop back to the initial boot screen. This seems to be permanent at this point. Earlier it did once continue on successfully, but the problem seems hard now. Operating System : Microsoft Windows 2K Professional
Motherboard : IBM

use a boot disk to boot the system in safe mode and run scan disk. then reboot in normal mode without the boot disk :)
